Love the podcast. My son wants us to start a LEGO podcast now. Listened to them all in the past couple months. Keep them coming! – a LEGO loving dad from the great state of Ohio
That’s great to hear Matthew, especially the part about your son wanting to do one too!
I agree! Fabulous podcast. I’ve enjoyed all of them and I’ve been telling friends to check out your podcasts too. As Matthew McClure said: “Keep them coming!”
Thank you Marcus, that’s very kind of you!
Oh wow you are back! Great! However the reason I was checking your channel was to find out if you two had heard about SHUX a Boardgaming Con scheduled for October 6-8 in Vancouver.
Hi Peter – we had! My suspicion is that we will not be attending this one ($150 USD per person buys a lot of boardgames!). It’s good Vancouver is getting more board gaming events, though. We also get the Terminal City Tabletop Convention in the springtime, lucky us.
Hey dads, when are you planning to produce the next episode? I’ m checking your side regularly but so far no new episode ?. I hope you produce a new episode soon?
Hey John – Your message got Jeff and I to chatting about this. Work looks like it will ease up a bit for Jeff soon so we are looking to record a batch of episodes in the near future. We’ll probably release them on a slightly slower schedule (not weekly) until we find a rhythm that works for us. Thanks for the nudge, time slips by quickly !
Cool, looking forward to these new episodes!!
Hi Currie! I will have to check with Jeff on this one. I know we’ve looked at retired sets at a couple of LEGO gatherings (both in Canada and the US) but they were pricey. I’m not sure what the best online source is! If time travel is an available option I would highly recommend it.
“What are you going to use the time machine for? Radically changing the course of human history?”
“No. I want to buy modular LEGO sets before they are retired.”
